An XSS exploit was discovered in µTorrent's WebUI server-side backend in early 2008. To patch this problem, a token-based auth system was added to µTorrent (TokenSystem), which required a modification of all WebUIs unaware of token auth. For maximum compatibility, any application using the WebUI backend should make use of token auth where possible! For further details, please email greg@bittorrent.com
